Tigers are not native to the United States, but they seem inherently American. They star in the cartoons we grew up watching, they have been printed on more cereal boxes than Michael Jordan, and they are the mascots of some of our most beloved sports teams. But even with all this mainstream exposure, most people don't realize the tiger is endangered and on the brink of extinction. In fact, only 3,000 - 4,000 tigers still exist in the wild. This is because their natural habitat is suffering from deforestation due to commercial logging and oil palm production, and is being put under even further pressure because it is a target for human hunting.

At Rainforest Sunglasses we believe in doing our part to help endangered wildlife before we lose them forever. A portion of the sale of each of our beautiful bamboo sunglasses, made from sustainably harvested wood, is donated to conservation efforts across the globe.
