DARMATI is a veteran owned and operated independent eyewear company that has been featured in the pages of GQ and Glamour. We specialize in limited run, high quality eyewear built from the very best materials that bring us back to a time when style and design mattered. Our independence is our strength. Being 100% independent allows us to make our frames from unique materials while maintaining an incredible level of quality and craftsmanship - unlike mass manufacturers. Independence is built into the fabric of our company and enables us to donate a portion of our proceeds to causes that we are deeply passionate about: conservation and our nation's veterans.
The quality and craftsmanship we put into each pair of sunglasses is clear from the moment you hold them. We meticulously handcraft all of our frames using only the highest quality materials harvested from sustainable sources. The wood's grain and texture make every pair unique.
We design all our frames to be incredibly light for such a comfortable fit, you might just forget you're wearing them. Plus, our Lifestyle and Athletic frames float on the water, so you won't have to worry about losing another pair of shades to the bottom of the ocean again.
I started DARMATI after I returned home from serving overseas in Afghanistan. I was inspired daily by the Marines I served alongside. Their bravery, leadership in the face of adversity, and selfless determination to not only do good, but exhaust themselves for the sake of others and the mission inspired me to start a company that was focused on doing good for the world...
At DARMATI, we make fashionable eyewear from unique, eco-friendly materials and donate a portion of the proceeds to support projects and organizations that protect nature and connect combat veterans with the inspirational beauty and serenity of the outdoors.
A portion of our proceeds are donated to Rainforest Trust, a nonprofit conservation organization that helps to purchase, protect and safeguard tropical habitat to save endangered species by working with local organizations and communities throughout Latin America, Africa and Asia.
